The Story

NERIO combines premium outdoor performance with genuine sustainability. Every fabric in the NERIO line contains at least 50% recycled polypropylene, recovered from ocean-bound plastic.

The fibre is solution-dyed — colour and UV protection are anchored at the core. No post-dyeing, no water consumption, no chemical baths. The result: long-lasting fabrics with excellent colourfastness and measurable CO₂ savings.

OceanCycle Process

Ocean-bound plastic is collected within 50 km of coastlines or at major waterways leading to the oceans. Through a certified process, it is transformed into high-quality material for our NERIO fabrics.

Collection

Ocean-bound plastic is collected near coastlines and waterways before it reaches the seas.

Sorting

The collected materials are separated by polymer type and quality and prepared for further processing.

Cleaning

Thorough cleaning and preparation of the material to remove contaminants and foreign matter.

Recycling

Processing into high-quality recycled polypropylene (rPP), which serves as the basis for NERIO yarns.
